School work samples, I believe, serve the same amount of significance as job and internship samples. From creating brands from scratch to analyzing business development, here are a select amount of samples from my minor of Marketing. Make it stand out.

 

In college, I was given the opportunity to develop a social media travel influencer brand and at least two brand channels to support my new brand. With that I created Livin’ Like A Local. Charleston is known for their eateries, but they often times are crowded and over advertised. Personally, I wanted to offer visitors with an inside look into the hidden gems of Charleston that little to no people have heard of. Creating this business was not as simple as it may seem; analyzing the target market, convention-entered website design, traffic and engagement through analytics, and so much more.

Along with Livin’ Like A Local, I was able create another brand called Mad Men Marketing. The main. goal was to take on a modern movie. theatre. and open. it up to the public. Both projects, I was able to create the logos and business development goals for these companies.

Simply Craft Brewing has to be my best and most exciting project I took on in my time at college. This semester long analysis examined the potential of a business created from the ground up. While creating this 5 year marketing plan, I was able to examine the non financial and financial goals, core competency and sustainable competitive advantage, industry, competitor company and customer analysis, market goals, POD, positioning, product strategy, etc.
